Pazarskis Michail

Michail Pazarskis is an Associate Professor of Financial Accounting and Mergers at the Department of Economics of the International Hellenic University, Greece. He has previously worked at the Hellenic Open University and the Open University of Cyprus as Adjunct Professor, Coordinator, etc. He holds a PhD in Financial Accounting and Mergers from the University of Macedonia, Greece (2008), and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Macedonia, Greece (2003).
Dr Pazarskis’s main research interests lie in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, financial statements quality, internal auditing and corporate governance. He has published extensively in academic journals such as Journal of Public Budgeting, Accounting and Financial Management; Annals of Operations Research; Journal of Business Economics and Management; Corporate Governance: The International Journal of Business in Society; International Journal of Business Governance and Ethics; International Journal of Disclosure and Governance; Journal of Tax Administration; Journal of Operational Risk; The Journal of Developing Areas; Journal of Accounting and Management Information Systems; International Journal of Critical Accounting; etc. He is a referee in academic journals, and a supervisor in PhD theses as well as in a large number of MSc theses.
