Dimitra Konstantinidou is an adjunct lecturer in Economic Law at the Department of Economics of International Hellenic University. She holds a PhD in European Law from the Law School of Democritus University of Thrace. She completed her doctoral thesis on the taxation of digital currencies in European Law at Democritus University of Thrace having earned a doctoral scholarship from IKY. She holds two Masters of Law degrees, an LL.M. in Tax Law and an LL.M. in Private International Law, both from the Law School of Democritus University of Thessaloniki. She graduated from the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, awarded scholarships of excellent academic performance from IKY and after a six-month study at the Law School of University of Heidelberg. She has worked as a research associate at the Hellenic Parliament and at the Center for International, European and Economic Law. She has authored a monograph and individual articles and papers that have been published in numerous legal journals, has participated as an author in collective editions and has taken part as a lecturer in scientific conferences and seminars. Dr. Konstantinidou is also a lawyer at the Supreme Court and works as a legal advisor to companies and individuals. Her scientific interests are related to European Law, Tax Law, Public Law and New Technologies.
